Yes, you can scan in the library. The staff at the circulation desk are happy to assist with scanning at the circulation desk, and we also offer a self-serve scanning station. The directions for self-serve scanning are:

  1. Locate the scanning station, which is currently setup at Computer #9 in the library.
  2. Find and open the ‘MP Navigator Ex 2.0’ program using the desktop shortcut.

  1. Lift the cover on the scanner and place document in the bottom left corner of the glass.

TO COPY

  1. Press the ‘Copy’ button on the front of the scanner.
  2. The scanner will initiate momentarily, and the scan will automatically be printed at the circulation desk.

TO SCAN

4. Press the ‘scan’ button on the front of the scanner and allow the scanner time to automatically initiate and scan.

5. After the scan has initiated and run, located your document in the on-screen folder and click the corresponding box to select your scan.

6. Choose among the options on the left to either save as PDF, Print, Send or Edit/Convert.

  1. When you are finished with your scan, delete the file or restart the computer for your security.
