The primary way to login to use Library Resources is through OneLogin. If you are accessing any Library Resource from your OneLogin page, or from D2L, you should already be signed in and ready to access the Library Resources. If you have not already logged in, you may be routed to OneLogin before being allowed into the resource. Many of the Library Resources do have an option to sign in or create a more personalized account, which will allow a few more options such as saving your research, but you should be able to conduct research without using that sign in option.
Here is an overview of the few databases that require an individual account, provided by the University:
1. Right Now Media- this is a resource that is highly individualized, so it does require that a personal login be created prior to use. You can register for this access here.
2. Overdrive- this resource allows you to check out eBooks and audiobooks, and is also an individualized experience. You may sign up for this resource here.
3. Library Catalog- an individual login is not required to search the catalog. However, if you want to manage your checkouts, place a hold, or view any fines you may have, you must sign in to the catalog using your student id as your username and password. If you have never checked a physical item out from the Library, you do not yet have an account.
The tutorial below provides a visual overview. If you experience issues accessing resources, we encourage you to restart your computer, and be sure you are using an up-to-date Google Chrome browser.
