No. Library fines do not accumulate while the library is closed, such as holidays, breaks, and emergencies. When possible, we ask that items be returned before a scheduled closing or renewed accordingly to extend the due date.
In some cases, patrons may still receive overdue and/or fine notifications when the library is closed- especially if the closure was due to weather or emergency. In such cases, fines may need to be removed when the library has re-opened.
