The typical lending period for most items from the MACU library is 14 days. However, some patrons and items are granted a more extended checkout. Below is a chart outlining the lending period for items, listed by item/location and patron type. Renewals of these checkout periods can be requested twice per item if there are no holds. After a checkout has been renewed twice, patrons are asked to physically bring the book to the library to be checked in, and they may then check it out again if there are no holds or recalls on the item.
